Towards the end of most beaver meetings the lads are given refreshments - usually a drink of squash or water and some biscuits. We rely on our vollunteer helpers to prepare the refreshments. More vollunteers would be welcomed! |

When a new member is ready to commit to being a beaver scout by making their beaver scout promise, they are invested into the group and scout movement. Here we see some lads at their investiture ceremony in early May 2009. |

Beavers went on a one night away in May 2009. They slept in a log cabin at Kinver Scout Training Camp.

The weather was really good and the Sunday morning sw lads participating in fun and games. |

Later on Sunday there was a barbeque for the lads and their families. There was also a chance for anyone to try out the obstacle course that was set up by scout, cub and beaver leaders. |
||
The course was watched-over by adult helpers including members of the group committee. Even the leader's dogs wanted to join in! |

Thanks to the leaders from all sections who helped with the beaver camp weekend! |
Everything was left clean and tidy - well at least the log cabin and the Kinver site was! |

The group had a display and shelter in the scout marquee. This needed anchoring to the group Land Rover due to high winds. The obstacle course was set up for anyone to try out. The Hollywood Heroes came along to inspect the obstacle course for themselves, before helping the group to raise funds by having their photos taken for a donation. |
